A true expression of self love and care, gift a box for yourself or someone you love. I started this business as an outlet for myself and a way to be of service to others and the joy I experience from knowing that someone loves something that I have created for their special occasion is priceless.

I have always been a shopper and gift giver. For several years my friends and family have been on the receiving end of seasonal, holiday and “just because” boxes including a collection of things I have found that I’d thought would make them smile. “I love everything you sent me!” ,“This is just what I needed!”, “Where did you find these” and “My mom cried when she got your box” were regular quotes I would hear. I started making boxes for others by request just because I enjoyed giving people gifts.

When Covid-19 disrupted so many lives including mine, I found myself sending more and more care packages and boxes to my friends and family to keep them encouraged. Over time my friends and family started to ask how much I charged for special boxes that I created a few times a year for holidays and Kreative Kreations by Kitorah was born.

I won’t say that I was not scared to get started or even more terrified that no one would buy my boxes. However, that changed with every new piece of software I learned. That changed with every meeting I had with fellow business owners and with every page I read to educate myself about further business development. My fear of failure completely disappeared when I made my initial investment back in the first month of business. I am now operating a business that I own 100%.

I am no longer afraid and have become proud of myself in a way that I had not been before. The self confidence that has blossomed within me on my journey to make it happen has changed my life. I am encouraged everyday by the women I see starting businesses and becoming owners of empires and creators of their own destiny.
